That's not exactly true...we just had a glass of wine, and I brought home a cupcake tonight...but still, there is celebration taking place here in our lovely abode!
Charlie got a promotion yesterday! So very very deserved. HOORAY!
Charlie is running a 5k tomorrow night after a lot of hard work!!
Charlie is winning his fantasy baseball league!!
Clearly, Charlie is dominating this week and I am here standing on the sidelines beaming with pride :)
I happen to LOVE being a gift giver. I'd rather give than receive any ol' day. Not that I don't love to receive...because trust me, I do. But there's just something about doing a little something for someone else.
So like any proud girlfriend, who also happens to jump at any opportunity to give gifts, I ran to Target during my lunch break and gathered these little prizes!
Let's discuss something...look closely at the card. Am I the only one surprised to find out that Hallmark spells "hooray", "hurray"?? Have I lost my mind or just been crazy my whole life? I promise (note the beginning of this post)...I have always said HOORAY! Hurray...just looks like you're trying to get somebody to come on and added an "a". Right??? Anywho...
Somehow between all of the excitement I've also decided to join his Fantasy Football league at work...yes, you're thinking the exact right thing...I have NO clue what I am doing!
Drafting starts in 12 minutes...so I better go prepare. HA! I am going to get stomped, and probably won't even look at it again for the rest of the season. Something tells me Charlie will just be playing for 2 teams. If under the rare occasion I do actually take part in this, I'll be sure to keep you guys updated...because I am positive that you are so very interested :)
