My Reading List

The reading department of my life has been slacking in a major way lately, and it's something I really want need to get back in to.

I started a book this summer during those days by the pool called, "Firefly Lane", I was so in to it...then I ended up taking a whole week off and it just all fell apart, and I have yet to find my way back to it. Major bummer.

I keep trying to talk myself in to taking a book to the gym with me, but I can just imagine major car sickness while trying to read on the elliptical. Plus, I think Charlie would make fun of me...and well, I'm competitive, and I don't want him thinking the elliptical is an easy work out! ha!

Anywho, I am really wanting to find my way back in to my life of reading, and I figured the best way for that is to make a list of books that I am really, really excited about.

The Help - Without a doubt, this is #1 on the list. I find myself every day wanting to get my hands on this book. So this one must be the first! Have you read it?? Did you love it just as much as everyone else I have talked to about it??

To Kill A Mockingbird - I have never read this. Ever. Crazy, right? I feel like it must be a requirement to even be accepted in to college, but nope...never read it. I hear people talk about it all the time, and I know it's just one of those MUST reads.

Water For Elephants - I bought this book on tape (on my iPhone) and planned to listen to it during a long road trip...but, that road trip has yet to happen. I feel absolutely awful thinking I wasted my money on that but I really want to get in to this book. Maybe I can just start listening to it periodically since there isn't a long trip coming up.

Emily Griffin Series - I want to get in to all of these books. I'm late jumping on the bandwagon, but I've heard they are absolutely amazing! Do you guys have an opinion about these?

    What's on your reading list?
Anything I've left out that you think I just can't live without reading?
    I'd love some suggestions!
