I am a strong believer that God always knows what he is doing...and 18 years ago yesterday...he had something in the works that I thank him for every single day.
On September 25, 1993 God made my family official. He put together three people, who I with my whole heart believe had always belonged together.
My Mom and Dad got divorced when I was 10 months old, which allowed the perfect opening for a man I like to refer to as, my T-Dad.
For the past 18 years my perfect little family of three has been all I could ever ask for. I've had more love given to me, more hugs, more pats on the back, more laughs and more encouragement than I could have ever prayed to receive.
There is no good reason or explanation as to why I have been given this life, but oh Lord, do I owe you and praise you for it!
Now...let me take the time to say Happy Anniversary to my parents. My parents who share more love and happiness than I can explain. I have never wanted to be more like two people than I do my parents. I have said for years, I'd rather hang out with my parents than anybody else in this world. Charlie and I are so blessed to have such an example of a successful marriage in our lives. They are such an example of truth, commitment, fun and just pure unconditional love.
It's hard to describe what I see in them...it's the epitomy of two amazing/perfect people coming together to make each other even better. The two of them are my heroes, and for God to put together two souls like theirs is the beauty of love. They make such a team, and I'm more than thankful that I get to call them mine.
Cheers to my parents, for an amazing 18 years full of love, memories and beauty...and cheers to the lifetime ahead of all of us. My heart overflows on a daily basis, and it's no secret that it is all because what God brought together 18 years ago.
