Dedicate your Saturday's at home as "Pancake Saturday" and enjoy a little guilty pleasure with the beauties pictured above! How could you not feel like you were in heaven after a bite of those??

I know, I know...they aren't the most healthy of choices, but that's why you work so hard during the week to keep an eye out for your habits! It's Saturday morning and you made it through a terrific week, you deserve this treat!

Scrumptious Homemade Pancakes (if you don't want to resort to my personal favorite...Bisquick)

    2 cups dry buttermilk powder
    8 cups all-purpose flour
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    8 teaspoons baking powder
    4 teaspoons baking soda
    2 teaspoons salt

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients.
Stir with a wire whisk until evenly distributed.
    Pour into a 12-cup container with a tight-fitting lid.
Seal the container and put in a cool dry place.
Just be sure to use this recipe within 6 months!

    My favorite step...add chocolate chips!
I like to mix them in the pancake mix in the bowl, or you can pour the pancake mix in the pan and then spread the chocolate chips out accordingly.
If you love chocolate an extra lot, go ahead and add a few chocolate chips on top of your stack once they reach your plate.

My little Mama made these for me and many of my friends so many weekends while I was growing up. It's a perfect memory and a deliciously fun breakfast!!!

What are you waiting for? Go buy the ingredients and most importantly...don't forget the chocolate chips!!!

    xoxoxo and yummy pancakes too!
