This weekend we traveled back home for a wedding. The bride and I went to pre-school/middle school/high school together, and I went to church with the Groom all during elementary school. It was so wonderful to see them so very happy and so much in love. They are just absolutely perfect for each other and I am so very happy for them. It was a beautiful wedding that screamed the personality of them, which I loved!! Congratulations to them! I know their life will be filled with so much love!
The gorgeous bride!
My handsome date.
I was so disappointed my parents and I slacked on the opportunity to get a family picture since we were all dressed up. It was a perfect weekend with them! I just can't get enough time with them!
Another good part about this couple, is the groom's cousin is one of my very closest friends!! Her and her husband live just too far for my liking, if I could move her to us I would in a heartbeat! They were in town this weekend for the wedding and it was sooo amazing to see them! She has always been the sister I never had, but always wanted, and I am just so very thankful for her friendship. It's a friendship I know will always be there for every phase of my life and I'm so lucky to have her!
xoxo.
While at home I got to visit with my favorite little boys in the world. I am just smitten with my cousins and getting to see them was a special treat. They are full of energy and so much character! Never fails to amaze me what they come up with to tell us about. They are the sweetest things in the world, and I would bring them home with me in a heartbeat! I got to spend some time with my hero of an Uncle and sweet Grandmommy too on Saturday. In fact...I'd just like for everyone mentioned in this post to go ahead and pack up and move down here with us. I hate the distance!
Boys will be boys.
We also found a sweet little bird's nest, with some bird eggs!
As I was packing my stuff up today, my sweet pup (he's all my Mama's, but I like to claim him when he's as sweet as he is in this picture) curled up on my bed, and I would like to think was very sad about the thought of me leaving.
Are those not the sweetest/saddest eyes?
Also as I was leaving, a perfect summer afternoon storm showed up. I love rain, and especially on our tin roof at home. I had to snap a picture as I pulled out of the driveway!
Pure bliss.
It was a perfect weekend...not that I expected anything less! Going home always has perfectness to give!
I hope everyone had an amazing weekend. Cheers to starting off Monday and to this being a great week!
