Nom...Nom...Nom

Okay, readers...brace yourselves, I have an easy (my favorite) delicious recipe coming your way tonight!

I love to cook, but I have those nights where I get off work and there's just nothing about me that wants to come home and spend time over a hot stuff. Which is where this yummyness came in to play.

I was having drinks after work with some of my co-workers trying to figure out what to fix for dinner and BAM, just like that the world of Pinterest and my taste buds collided. Like how that seemed really dramatic? :) haha.

I love...Pillsbury croissants Grilled chicken Cream cheese Bacon and Jalapenos. Oh, and asparagus!
    Cue, the perfect meal!

I had seen something on pinterest like this before, but it was a snack. So I knew with a little grilled chicken I could turn it in to a real meal. Voila! Charlie and I enjoyed these little yummy pockets till our bellies were content!

    Here's what you need.
    • 1 can of Pillsbury yummy croissants
    • Grilled Chicken (I bought the already cooked chicken, then threw it in a pan to warm it up with some garlic and italian seasoning)
    • Cream Cheese (not a whole thing. I used regular, I was too nervous to use the reduced fat kind)
    • Cooked/Chopped Bacon (bacon bits should do)
    • Chopped Jalapenos (chives if you don't like spicy)
*This whole recipe, as far as amount of food size is all based on what you like. If you like cream cheese, put a lot. If you don't love jalapenos, put in some chives. This is really just a whatever you like kind of dinner!
    • Roll our your croissants
    • Smear the croissants with cream cheese
    • Grill your chicken
    • Bake your bacon (if you don't have bacon bits)
    • Chop your Jalapenos
    • On your croissants with cream cheese, add the chicken, bacon and jalapenos
    • Roll those babies up and stick them in the oven on 350 for 15 minutes (or whatever the croissants call for)

So super simple, right? Sorry if I was vague. Please let me know if you have any questions. I loved this meal and Charlie just ate it right up!

We are big fans of asparagus, so I served that on the side. I normally just do olive oil, salt and pepper on our asparagus and cook it on 400 until it's very crunchy :)

If you're looking for something simple after work, try this! AMAZING! I promise. Plus, I'm never one to try recipes without someone telling me about them, this was an exception and I am so glad we did it!

Let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy :) xoxo
