It was an "us" weekend.
Which in turn made it a perfect weekend!!
Friday night we went to a great restaurant nearby.
We had the most delicious homemade potato chips...
topped with blue cheese crumbles.
I need to stop talking about them.
I'm already craving them again.
Deliciousness!
We also got to enjoy our most favorite beverages of choice!
Saturday night this sweet boy got us tickets to Turner Field
to cheer on the Braves!!
The ballpark is one of C's favorite places in the world,
and to be able to have it so close is really great!
I know he could spend every night during the summer here.
However because of the temperature, we only go occasionally
and spend a lot of time with the Braves in our air conditioned living room :)
Hello, Atlanta! Gorgeous view from the top of Turner Field.
We were needing a good breeze to cool down,
so C took us to the very top of the stadium.
Such a cool view from up there!
The Braves pulled off a win, and we came home some happy fans!
It was a very relaxed weekend.
And it was just exactly what we needed!
I very much so appreciated having some "us"
time before this busy week starts back up.
Come tomorrow I'm going to want to be back in the apartment
lounging around having fun with him.
