**Hey guys! Just wanted to join in with Kelly's Christmas Tour of Homes link up, so I'm reusing the post from a week ago that shows all of the sparkle and shine! :) Welcome if you're new!
I'm sitting on the couch listening to Christmas music tonight and am just absolutely giddy over the fact that Michael Buble's Christmas special will be on in an hour!! My obsession is weird, weird, weird...but don't y'all just love him??
Anyways, with all of the Christmas bursting out of this apartment tonight, I thought it would be the perfect time to share our Christmas decorations with you. This isn't all of them, but just what I could snag pictures of tonight!
Have you decorated yet?? Still just trying to find the right night to get it all out and up?
I know for me, I MUST be in the mood.
To decorate our Christmas tree, we blared some Christmas music and Charlie put the "fake" fireplace on our TV to really set the mood, ha! Oh, the things you miss by living in an apartment in the city.
We finished up the decorating of everything else during the Rockefeller Christmas tree special! It was a perfect time to get in the spirt, but poor C had to listen to me carol my way through the apartment all night, and let me be the first to say...I do not have a singing voice.
But helloooo...absolutely my life motto this time of year :) Anyone else?
Well, welcome to our lovely Christmas abode...
Everyone needs a little bear with a santa's hat! Yes?
Our very own Charlie Brown
Christmas tree! Precious.
One of my all time favorite Christmas movies!
I cherish this sweet nativity set.
It really puts focus on the reason for the season.
I've got them set up so no matter where you are, you can see them.
Bless that sweet baby Jesus.
Pinterest got ahold of me and inspired me with this one.
I have had this lantern for a while now (which C just thinks is hilarious, he always says "why in the world do we ned a lantern"...hello, power outages! Okay, fine. It's just for looks, but whatev)
I had some really great/cheap ornaments from Target and stuck them in there,
and VOILA there was a little extra Christmas spirit.
This garland and lights are just strung across the bar between
the kitchen and living room. I threw some more ornaments up there
and I just really love the way it turned out!
BURLAP!
One of my all time favorite things to use to decorate.
I love the simplicity of Christmas, and burlap is just that!
Our very, first Christmas tree!
I am in love with this beauty.
It's got more Christmas lights on it than it should have (which I LOVE)
and fresh red berries from my yard in NC!
With burlap around the bottom as the skirt and a simple little gold star up top!
This tree made it's way all the way from the mountains of NC on top of our car after Thanksgiving and I am so so glad my parents talked us in to a real tree.
I know a lot of people do fake trees (trust me, I know it's much easier) but nothing beats a real tree for me.
The smell and the way it stands so proudly in that corner just makes me beam!
So, are you all decorated for Christmas?? Share fun pictures! I love to see the different ways people decorate and I love to get inspired!
Now GO! RUN!!! Turn on NBC and watch the Buble! Oh, people, trust me...you want to see this :) xoxo. Night y'all!
