I am sitting here contemplating how in the world I can possibly fit like, um, 100 or so images in one blog post? Seriously. This wedding was the. most. awesome. day. EVER.... From the colors, to the perfect day, to the ornate gorgeous details, to the couple who are absolutely completely adorable and so in love... I can't even begin to put into words how great this day was, and how much fun I had photographing it.
BTW have I ever told you how much I love Indian weddings? Just in general I LOVE saturated colors, turquoise and fuchsia, sparkly things, and this wedding combined them all to a tee. If I could magically transform myself into a beautiful Indian princess and then have a wedding I would in a heartbeat. I'm not even joking! In fact, between you and me, I already asked my fiance if I could have sparkly turquoise fabric draped everywhere at our wedding.. and hey, maybe some fuchsia feathers and peacock feathers? He just looked at me like I had lost my mind and said, "Honey, AGAIN you are not Indian!" LOL! Oh well..
Anu looked so so so pretty, and the colors and details she chose for the day were just stunning. Steve was so fun the entire day, and his love for Anu was just brimming up in his eyes. SO enough talking, check out the pics. Usually when there are this many I do collages, but the details are so pretty, I just wanted you to get the full effect :)
These first images are just a handful from the early morning Christian ceremony...
After the early morning ceremony at Cathedral, they went to get ready for the Hindu ceremony at Centennial Park ..
Are these fabrics not gorgeous? And the Jasmine flowers for Anu's hair...
Anu's peacock shoes she had custom made for the reception... AWESOME
Steve getting ready!
And of course, a girl has to have more than one pair of shoes for the big day... ;)
Now this ... is what I'm talking about! Why can't I do this for my wedding? LOL
Steve and Anu seeing each other for the first time at the Parthenon... :) :)
Sparkles = LOVE it
Words cannot even express how cool this bouquet is!
There are so many more great shots from the ceremony but I am pretty sure blogger is about to cut me off (on how many pics I can post) haha... So on to the reception.. Just as awesome...
check out these champagne flutes... is there any detail that Anu did not think of?
Anu, Steve, family and crew... It was so fun spending the day with you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me be a part of it! More soon!!!! ~Krista
