I am so proud to announce the latest little addition to our family, Liam Marshall. Isn't he the cutest? (Well maybe I'm a bit partial... )
These photos were all taken up in Chicago on my last trip. I think our neighbors probably think I now have officially lost my mind, as hunting for the perfect leaves for the above shot turned out to be quite a chore. The only ones in *our* yard (of course) were colorless and ugly... So naturally I walked around the neighborhood... like a crazy person... and stared blankly at everyone's yard, then picked up random leaves off the ground and shoved them into an old grocery bag like a hungry kid on Halloween. All in all, I think it was worth it... (but there may be some rumors now floating around the Chicago suburbs about me hahaha...)
On that note, remind me sometime to tell you about the turkey feather throwing incident on Natchez Trace... I don't think anything beats that story for people thinking I'm crazy! But hey, whatever it takes to get "the" shot, right?
Hope you love my new little nephew! :)
At my parents... my first time holding him!
