Candace and Matt's Wedding

From the moment I met these two I knew we were going to get along fabulously... I love this couple! Candace and Matt are SO stinking cute together, and they are not afraid to work the camera like total pros... I did their engagement photos last fall and they let me run with super creative shots!  Fun fun fun :) Their wedding was held at the Factory in Franklin, Tennessee. It is an old brick industrial building with huge industrial size windows that reminds me a lot of my studio... For their wedding, the inside of the factory was transformed, decked out in amazing lights, crystals, and finished off with all different sizes of old vintage windows (what a perfect accent as a backdrop!)  Check out the vintage clips on C's shoes... (I heard a rumor she landed them on etsy...) and in the last shot, how cute is Matt when he looks at Candace that way??  Awww!

Well enough talking.. Check out the previews!

Candace, Matt and crew, you all were so fun to work with! Thanks for rockin' it out despite the furnace-like temps outside! You all were awesome! :) -Krista

Victoria's photo shoot..

Okay, is this little baby not the sweetest little girl you have ever seen?  Victoria came to the studio last week for her first official shoot with me.  She was so so adorable, every time I looked at her she just lit up.  The folks at the studio hadn't mowed the grass (which worked out to my advantage) and the entire lawn was filled with little white clover blooms which was SO cute for V's shoot.  Kinda wish they would stop mowing the lawn more often haha!  Jennifer and Clifton, it was great to meet you!  Hope you all love the previews...  :)  -Krista

This next one her mom says is her "Pea" face.. She makes it every time they give her peas to eat...HA!

Legends of Hip Hop

A few weeks ago, I had the unique pleasure of creating a series of portraits for a 'Where Are They Now' project with some of the greatest musical minds in the world. These 'Legends of Hip Hop' were responsible for starting what is now one of the most popular genres of music in the world. This was a completely breathtaking experience. Having all of these individuals in the same place at the same time telling their stories and just generally having a blast with each other was awesome. The Force MD's, Kool Keith, Grand Wizard Theodore, Original Spinderella, Melle Mel, Full Force, and Mickey Bentson were kind enough to let me capture them with my camera and show what true legends look like.

Nick's Modeling Photo Shoot

Meet Nick,  a local high school student from White House who recently quit football so that he could pursue acting and modeling!  Nick has a cousin who models and thought it might be fun to try out... so he started checking out some local agents and immediately got signed with Mark Block (that's always a good sign... to get nabbed up by one of the area's best agents!!!)  He brought some great props including his surfboard, some great clothes and his gorgeous girlfriend Hannah even tagged along for the whole shoot.  They make the CUTEST couple, so you know I made her jump in for some Abercrombie inspired shots (my absolute favorite is the first shot against the grey wall... Thanks for being a great sport Hannah!)

Nick, Jamie and Hannah, it was great meeting you all!  Good luck with your new career and I hope you L-O-V-E your photos!  ~Krista
