Jak and Jakob..

Okay ya'll... I have TOTALLY been slacking on the blog this month, I am so sorry! I have been traveling a bit home to Chicago plus just have been busy here at the studio... And unfortunately this blog is what ends up getting the short end of the stick... Ugh!

Anyway hopefully we will be back on track now... :) :) SO, check out these two cutie pies... Jak and Jakob are one of my best friends little boys. Every time I see them they are cuter, I mean they just ooze personality and they are so fun to photograph! Here are a few previews from their shoot, check out the "bat" photo of Jakob. It accidentally came out of the camera upside down, but our intern Alex and I decided we liked it that way... He looks like an adorable little bat hanging from the rafters... LOL... Just in time for Halloween! Haha... We've lost our minds over here... ;) Also check out that cute old man wrinkly forehead (click on the orange shirt photo to make it bigger)! SO cute.

Marjie and Tom's Beautiful Vegas Wedding!

My good friend Marjie and her fiance Tom tied the knot a few weeks ago, and they were kind enough to hire me to come shoot their wedding all the way out in Vegas! They are the CUTEST couple, they actually went to high school together in Iowa and re-connected at their high school reunion last year. Marjie made the most beautiful bride, and Tom was quite dapper in his white tux. They were married in a beautiful old pueblo-style church downtown Vegas and then had their reception at the yacht club on Lake Las Vegas (breathtaking backdrop!) The love between them was so genuine, it really showed through in their photos how truly happy they are. Marjie had not missed one detail in planning the reception, from a personalized cake with Iowa memorabilia- to canoes- and floral arrangements decorating the entire reception, the entire hall looked so amazing! Tom and Marjie, I REALLY enjoyed spending the weekend with you. I am so truly happy for you that you have found happiness and love, and can't wait to see what the future holds for you!

Rachele

Rachele is an actress who was referred to us by our friend Mark Block for some updated head shots. Today she wanted to go for a more natural look with her beautiful curly hair, and she plans on seeing us again for some shots with straight hair as well. Her best friend's Mom came with her to do her makeup and it turned out fantastic as you can see! She has great skin that really glowed in all the pictures.
