Okay okay.. .I know, I never put up 2 posts of the same shoot but it is just SO DANG hard to narrow it down, and well I just can't help it this time!!!! A few more of this cutie!!!! He is so cute I just can't stop looking at the photos!!!!!

It was great to meet Gary Henry, a very talented local writer last week. He came in for our 20 minute headshot and we had a great session! Lyla and Harrison
Meet Harrison, one of the CUTEST babies in all of North America! Harrison and his mom Lyla actually came all the way from Canada to shoot with us (I am SO flattered!) He was such a cutie pie and was absolutely adorable in front of the camera. We started here in the studio, then ventured out to a field a few blocks away where we managed to get some amazing shots of the two of them. Lyla, Linette, and Harrison it was so nice to meet you all and I look forward to working with you again very soon! Hope you love your previews!!!

CMT Awards : Red Carpet
So, this post is LONG overdue but I guess as the old saying goes... Better late than never! As many of you know, I get to work with the fine folks over at CMT from time to time, and I was VERY honored to be hired to shoot the red carpet and award shots for the 2009 CMT Awards! I arrived a few hours early to secure my spot on the red carpet and boy, it was a hot day. It had just rained and for that reason they had enclosed the entire carpet with plastic tents. It was hotter than any sauna I had EVER been in, but the excitement of being in the middle of everything was so great I hardly noticed the heat. As the carpet opened, we photographed every celebrity coming through. Such celeb's included Taylor Swift, pretty much every country star imaginable (Alan Jackson, Naomi Judd, Gloriana, Zac Brown Band, Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts, and many more country artists) Michelle Branch, the B-52's, Luke Wilson (actor), and one of my personal favorites, Karolina Kurkova (Victoria's Secret model!)
After the red carpet closed and the show began, they ushered me to the back stage room where only myself and one other photographer were allowed. We then proceeded to photograph all of the winners one on one. It's one thing to shoot them on the red carpet, but a completely different dynamic when it is just me and them, trying to get a great photo. It was so much fun to meet and chat and photograph all of these folks and I was very surprised at how many non-country stars attended.
I SO WISH I could share all of these photos with you, unfortunately due to copyright and my agreement with CMT/MTV I am not allowed to publish any artist photos without their approval. Boooo!!! But hey, come stop by the studio sometime and I'll show you some really fun photos. And just to hold you over, here is a photo of moi, dripping in sweat waiting for the red carpet to open! (yeah I know... not NEARLY as exciting as a photo of Taylor Swift... You'll have to get over it.. Haha!) On that note, I'm going to bed... Have a great week ya'll! :) Krista

Anna Kate's headshots
Ms. Anna Kate came to see me last week for our 20 minute headshot, and what a SWEETHEART she was! She was so good in front of the camera, and was a complete pro even at her young age. I think she is going to have a very bright future with acting and modeling, it is rare to see someone this young be SO good in front of the camera! Good luck with your career Anna Kate and keep us posted on your progress! ~Krista
Constandina's headshots
Some of you may recognize this beautiful gal from the reality show "Rock Of Love"!!! I am so lame, I never watch TV (isn't that pathetic? haha) ... But I hear that she was quite a hit last season on the popular show.... I was so flattered that she chose me to do her updated shots! Constandina is just as sweet as she is beautiful and she was wonderful to work with. Gosh I love my job :) A shout out to our awesome makeup artist Kelly for doing an amazing job as usual!

Dermess Skin Renewal
Meet the lovely ladies from Dermess Renewal, a premier skin care center located here in downtown Nashville! These ladies wanted a nice group shot for some upcoming advertsing they are doing. They were SO sweet and I really enjoyed working with them. They had a very specific look they wanted and I think we managed to nail it :) On a side note, if you are ever in need of anytime of skin or facial remedies you should totally check out their site at www.dermessrenewal.com! Cory and Shelby: Summer Interns
Meet our summer interns, Cory and Shelby! They both have become an important part of our team here this summer, and I have really enjoyed having them around! Cory moved here from Indiana to intern with us. She has been working hard trying to absorb as much knowledge and experience as she can so that she can take her photography to the next level. She is going to light years ahead of her classmates in Indiana by the time the summer is over, and I am so excited to see how her career progreses! She is a very hard worker and will make a very fine photographer :) Thought we would share a few photos from a fun shoot I did with them over the past few weeks! We had a BLAST doing these photos, they are soo funny!

And now on to Shelby... We usually have all college students as interns, but Shelby is actually still in high school at Blackman High.. Thus earning the title of youngest intern we have ever had! Talk about getting a head start, she is also going to be light years ahead of her photographer friends. Her dad Garrett is a friend of mine from Bethel World Outreach church. He runs all of the video and music production for them and might be one of the smartest people I have ever met. He catches on to anything quickly, and Shelby certainly inherited those qualities from him, it amazes me how quickly she catches on to new concepts and photoshop! Check her working the camera in the next few shots.... Ummm, love it!

Sorry ya'll, I have been totally slacking on blogging lately! Trying to get caught up so I am going to keep these short and sweet. Mike came to us from CPA Consulting (A great CPA firm downtown) for a quick corporate headshot. Hillary and Brian's Wedding
I so enjoyed spending the day with Hillary and Brian last month! They tied the knot on June 20th at the cutest little country church in Springfield, Tennessee. Hillary was stunning in her gown, which she had adorned with some personal pieces, including a broach and flower. I love when brides add their own personal touch to their gown, it really adds character! Brian looked great in his tux and everyone involved were troopers... It was SO hot out but they all kept their cool and looked great in their photos. Hillary even ventured into an insect infested field to get some cool field shots. It took us 20 minutes to get all of the bugs out of her dress but the shots turned out AMAZING and in the end I hope it was worth it! HA! Enjoy the previews ya'll.. And the rest will be up online very soon!

Aubrey's 1 year photos!
The White's brought in their one year old today. Ms. Aubrey was the cutest thing! She fit in that bucket perfectly :) Jenny and Travis brought so many entertaining toys for her to play with. Despite all the toys and treats, Aubrey just wasn't in the greatest mood. But we actually managed to get a few absolutely adorable shots even despite her mood. We're gonna try again in a week or two. "She loves climbing all over our dog, " says Jenny. So we're headed to her house next time.
We had so much fun with Aubrey. Jenny and Travis, you were both so helpful. Thanks for hanging in there!
