Happy Birthday Jack!

It has been 2 years since I've seen this family--back when we did his big sister Atly's 1 year photos. I was very excited to meet their newest member, Jack, today for his turn. We also threw in some family photos, and check out that vintage car. Soooo cute! Hope you love them Ben and Rachel.

Andrea and Andrew's Amazing Wedding...

Many of you may recognize these photos as they belong to our associate photographer, Andrea! Andrea started with us as an intern several years ago and has been one of the best employees/interns/associate photographers I could ever wish for. I am so so SO happy for her and her new husband Andrew, and I was honored to be able to spend the day with them. Despite the temperamental weather (it poured all day), we were able to get a few lucky breaks in the weather and were able to get some fun shots around the grounds and on the Franklin square.

Andrea and Andrew, I really loved spending the day with you and your family! Everyone was so welcoming and your family is all so great. Thank you again for everything you do for us here at the studio and good luck with your new marriage! We love you all!!!!!

Latoya & Tony

Okay ladies, don't be jealous!

Latoya came to see us on her birthday, which is so fun! Her wonderful husband, Tony, set up a surprise photo session and makeup (with our fabulous Kelly!) to start her day! Now you're jealous, I know :) They are such a cute couple, and were a lot of fun to work with. Latoya had most of the session to herself, but Tony jumped in for a couple of shots. Latoya was great in front of the camera and we got so many shots it was hard to choose just a few for the blog!

Matt & Katelyn

Not many people can say they fell in love in France.  This couple can!  Katelyn and Matt met on a study-abroad trip through school and are now engaged to be married this fall!  We were able to get some great ones outside before the rain came- then found some neat spots throughout the building.  I had fun with you two!  Hope you enjoy!

Erin's Bridal Portraits

Erin looks so stunning in her bridal gown! I really enjoyed shooting her out in her hometown of Gallatin. We started at the gorgeous Cragfont Plantation where her and her fiance are getting married next month, and then we moved to a nearby field (where Erin was a TROOPER and posed in waist high grass in the hot sun!) and finally to the square of Gallatin. The square is under construction currently (which I was bummed about) but we managed to find some really cool little spots to shoot regardless. One of my favorite shots of her is on the square walking towards us, and then against a really cool glass wall (oh, and the other ones are beautiful too.. check out that awesome red door!) Hope you love the previews Erin, and I can't wait for your wedding!

Jacklyn Reed

You are not going to believe this- but this is Jacklyn's 4th child on the way... isn't she beautiful??!  She and her husband came into the studio this past weekend for her maternity session.  Her husband was very sweet and wanted some shots of her and kept on saying how beautiful he thinks she is!  We had fun with this- hope you enjoy!

Meet J. Wesley!

Mr. J Wesley came to visit us this week for his one month photos. His mom and dad's wedding was shot by Krista, and we love to watch the families we work with grow! This little guy is just adorable, he gave us smiles and was so sweet. He even rolled over during the shoot! (with a little assistance from mom :) Enjoy the preview!

Ashley Russell... Rawwwrrr!!!

Check out Ms. Ashley Russell, host of Rivals.com and Yahoo Sports minute! Ashley came to me to get some updated shots for her new website. We had a great time catching up and her sister (awesome makeup artist and hair stylist Stephanie Russell) hung out for the shoot and helped us keep Ashley looking her best!

Meet Jennifer, a gorgeous singer/songwriter/dental hygienist/model/actor and last, but not least, mom! Okay, that's alot of jobs. :) Jennifer came in this week for some updated shots for both personal and professional use. DeSouza Family

I had so much fun with the DeSouza family at Cheekwood last week! The twins Griffin and Ethan were so good in front of the camera and we lucked out with a beautiful sunny day.. Both Ethan and Griffin had a fascination with my reflector which ended up working to my advantage (because as long as I was close to the reflector they did not stop looking my way...) I now know what to get them for their next birthday! Just kidding... :)

Anyway, Katie and Aias I really enjoyed spending the afternoon with you and your family and I hope you love your photos! I am putting some of my favorites on our event site, so be sure to them out! :) Krista

The Rodriguez Family

Meet Jose, Tide, Arianna, and Alex! In a few weeks, Alex will be a year old and they needed some photos to celebrate. Tide is from Africa and she brought a traditional wrap with her to take some shots with Alex. They turned out beautifully!

This family was so much fun and I had a great time with them. We let Alex have his way with some cupcakes at the end of the shoot and he was covered!
